Mounir 🪬 (@MounirLynch) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@AEPOhio you’re gonna start notifying people when you cut off their power first, right? I know you’re not obligated to provide customer service since you monopolize the entire area, but there’s gotta be some lessons learned here?
Pretty B. 🦋🖤✨ (@OoOSheCold) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Okay my power NOT being back on til the 16th isn’t sitting well with me at tf all … @AEPOhio y’all have some SPLAININ ta do !!
Mounir 🪬 (@MounirLynch) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@RobDorans @AEPOhio Meanwhile their CEO makes millions of dollars per annum but they can’t afford to maintain power. AEP are murderous pigs

Got off 30 minutes late because our outpatient facility has no power again! Had to call 31 people to reschedule important testing. Thanks @AEPOhio !
🏁skan*field🏁 (@ESJackets) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Well, I have no power. Thank you so much @AEPOhio you suck.
🏁skan*field🏁 (@ESJackets) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@sween719 @AEPOhio It is city wide rolling blackouts because AEP infrastructure is ****. One storm caused this. It's really just them not being prepared for this situation. Just clowns taking our money and not investing it in a robust and sustainable grid.
nirRADICAL (@nirradical) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@sdfavor @AEPOhio Wow I worked for AEP 5 years and never even knew about this! Are you sure claims would be valid? I could see them denying...We are not responsible for unpredictable or preventative damages such as:Line failuresHigh WindsActs of GodCauses beyond the control of the company
Mark Machinski (@FakeWadeBoggs) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@AEPOhio A heads up would have been nice before cutting the power hundreds of thousands of people on intensionally!!!
Jen House (@jenhouse) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Stop calling what @AEPOhio is doing “rolling blackouts.” That’s not what this is. To be a rolling blackout it has to actually move around. They just shut off power to a huge portion of the poorest areas of the city for what sounds like will be DAYS unannounced.
Jon Shecket🇺🇦 (@jshecket) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
I think @AEPOhio should absolutely charge a surcharge to all homes that did not lose power including my family.
USTrademarkLaw (@JoeDreitler) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@MitsukiIsMySon @AEPOhio We were 16. On 5 and back off likely until Thursday sometime? You think they ca. supply @intel w power? Right. We will have more of these days. And PUCO does zero for customers
Gregory P Schenk (@tenantrep1) reported fromUpper Arlington, Ohio
@Bcarp3 @AEPOhio I walked golfing yesterday 9 holes at noon found out it was 109 degree heat index . I had 3 waters and a smoothie before and 2 waters during. Twice thought was going to pass out and on 9 th tee felt like I had never worked out and I work out daily ! Hot hot hot 🥵
John Hykes (@jahykes) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@AEPOhio Hey, we're not shown on the map and still down in Hilliard.
Allison Wiley (@awileyx3) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Lol and now my power is out again. Seriously **** off @aepohio this is absurd. Can’t handle 90° days? FIX IT NOW
USTrademarkLaw (@JoeDreitler) reported fromUpper Arlington, Ohio
@AEPOhio You turned off power Tues 2pm. Back 6 am & now off again. Intentional, really? Incompetent. I’m I’m Nowhere near storm. How long? I’m 71. Don’t have “other accommodations” @GovMikeDeWine
D. Jennings (@d84jennings) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@iamDontavius @AEPnews This is outrageous! They forcefully took homes off the power grid, this was no storm or act of god. @AEPOhio #Shameful
caity (@deeplez42069) reported fromWorthington, Ohio
@AEPOhio always working 24/7 like a slumlord who sends his son to spackle the broken window
Biggs (@theMBiggs) reported fromHilliard, Ohio
@AEPOhio You know what? **** all the way off.
Gerald Moore Jr. (@geraldmoore_jr) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
The electric companies have way too much power. @AEPOhio literally shut off peoples electric in a heat 🌊 in some of the poorest communities. Thankfully my in laws had electric and we were able to take the kids there but for the families with no other options I empathize. #ohio

@AEPOhio ****. You.
womack (@mackandzie) reported
@AEPOhio many areas downtown are out too, but the map doesn’t show that
Gigi and Friends (@OhioAmy81) reported
@AEPOhio Reasoning behind these specific areas? No power for potentially 2 days? These homes have children, pets, vulnerable adults in them. 2 days with no power is unacceptable. Why can’t you rotate the areas that you feel need to be “removed” from the grid?
Chuck T (@TheWickedestOne) reported
@AEPOhio By prepare you mean get a hotel, buy more groceries spend more than should because you know, everyone is just flat out stacked in cash, right? Stupid **** right here.
Rick Toddard (@JM_EDHD) reported
@AEPOhio REFUSE TO PAY FOR THE NEXT BILL. If they're going to shut off power for thousands of paying customers anyway then they don't deserve our money
Foos (@foosthefool) reported
@AEPOhio Why is there no rolling blackout? 3 days without power in 98 degree weather is ridiculous. The incompetence of the company is astounding.
Timotheus Magnus (@tkennedy3) reported
@AEPOhio is 23:59 on the 16th a worst case eta and my power might be back sooner or is that the earliest it *might* come back? No snark.
Jimmy Bloomfield (@oX_Bloomers) reported
@AEPOhio We’re not assured at all. You intentionally shut down over 100,000 people with no warning. Unacceptable. Turn it back on
Rick Toddard (@JM_EDHD) reported
@AEPOhio **** YOU @AEPOhio **** YOU. You shut down power intentionally for thousands of people WITHOUT WARNING during the hottest week of the year so far and now expect people to go another two days without power?? ALL AEP CUSTOMERS STOP PAYING YOUR BILL. **** THIS COMPANY
Sean Anthony (@s_anthony_330) reported
@AEPOhio @AEPOhio Why are you not "rolling" the outage to other parts of the grid so that all customers have at least some power for portions of the day? What about lost wages as a result of your outages, spoiled food and other power-related costs? What is your reimbursem*nt plan?
