FC Cincinnati defender Miles Robinson has been named to the U.S. Men's National Team roster for the upcoming Copa America tournament.Robinson is just one of two players from MLS named to the side, along with Nashville's Shaq Moore, also a defender.With inclusion in the side, Robinson will become the first member of FC Cincinnati to represent any nation in Copa America, the oldest still-running international soccer tournament in the world.In his first season in Orange and Blue, Robinson has appeared in 14 MLS matches, all of which have been starts, and has scored one goal. He's been a back-line stalwart for FCC, having played the second-most minutes among the team's defenders (behind only Matt Miazga) and is fourth on the club in expected-goal assists, with 1.2.Robinson was called up to USMNT's training camp last month but did not play in either international friendly against Columbia or Brazil.For the Stars and Stripes, Robinson has earned 29 caps and captained the U.S. side for the first time in his career in a friendly against Slovenia at the end of this year's winter camp.The U.S. open their Copa America run on June 23 against Bolivia in Arlington, Texas.
