Who makes Member's Mark? Walmart, the parent company of Sam's Club, is responsible for the manufacture of the Member's Mark brand. Walmart is a worldwide retailer that generates billions of dollars in revenue every year, and it's no surprise that it has the capacity to manufacture the products in-house.

Member's Mark offers just about all the essentials your family needs at prices that tend to be lower than the leading national brands. But you don't have to sacrifice quality. Some Member's Mark finds are so good (and delicious!) they have social media talking and Sam's Club members raving.

With Member's Mark, you'll find carefully crafted and thoughtfully sourced products with premium qualities like organic, fair trade, kosher, non-GMO, eco-friendly packaging and more.

As for brand differences, my family found the quality to be fairly consistent across the products. In a direct side by side, however, we found the Member's Mark 2-ply was a bit sturdier than the Kirkland 2-ply. We also thought the Kirkland 3-ply tissues were a bit softer than the Member's Mark 3-ply.

Sam's Club relaunched Member's Mark in 2022. Products have a focus on quality, innovation and regeneration, in direct response to member feedback.

Other good options for far less include Sam's Club Members Mark Ultimate Clean or Costco's Kirkland Signature Ultra Clean Free and Clear. While they don't perform as well as the Tide or Persil, they still do a very good job and cost half as much. Be sure to measure your detergent carefully.

They both even boast their own popular private label store brands: Costco's Kirkland Signature and Sam's Club's Member's Mark.

As a shopper, you'll likely find more brand-name items in Sam's Club. However, Costco offers its popular private brand Kirkland in its stores.

Using the wrong type of oil to season your grill can lead to problems like sticking food and burning. Always select oils that have a high smoke point. Good picks are grape seed oil and avocado oil. Avoid using oils with a low smoke point like olive oil.

You do not need to fully re-season your griddle every time you use the product, however, after every use, you should clean the griddle, and apply a light application of oil to help protect it from the elements.

While there was some speculation that Member's Mark Rue 33 French Vodka was made by Grey Goose (via QuerySprout) and the French distiller Louis Royer (via The Spokesman-Review), when it comes to Member's Mark French Vodka, Sam's Club has only claimed that the liquor is "made with imported French vodka."
