NRC operations in the United States began with the company’s founding in 1992 as an oil spill response provider following the introduction of the 1990 Oil Pollution Act (‘OPA 90’). Personnel:

NRC employs a diverse pool of talented and motivated environmental professionals ranging from entry-level hazardous waste technicians to Ph.D. Chemists. Our staff includes biologists, biochemists, geologists, marine managers, emergency response managers, fleet captains, engineers, hazardous waste managers, asbestos managers, high-hazard chemists, firefighters and a host of other degreed and credentialed professionals well qualified and committed to servicing our clients in a safe, efficient and effective manner.

As the world’s largest commercial OSRO and leader in emergency response services, NRC’s personnel are cross-trained and experienced with maintaining a state-of-readiness on all projects and performing response and cleanup of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, from preliminary response activities through transportation and disposal of waste to site restoration.

NRC’s International Operations Center:

Based out of our corporate headquarters in Great River, NY, our International Operations Center (IOC) provides experienced NRC Duty Officers on watch 24 hours a day, 365 days/year.
