For the first time since 2021, a new WWE King and Queen of the Ring will be crowned Saturday at the King and Queen of the Ring premium live event in Saudi Arabia.
Gunther and Lyra Valkyria await their tournament finals opponents—to be determined on Friday night SmackDown—but those are far from the only big matches that will be on the card.
In addition to the tournament finals, three titles will be on the line in the form of the WWE, Intercontinental and Women's World Championships.
As a result, King and Queen of the Ring figures to be a newsworthy show heading into the summer months and building toward SummerSlam.
Here is a full rundown of the King and Queen of the Ring card with projected match order, as well as a closer look at the top matches to watch.

- Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Chad Gable vs. Bronson Reed

Top King and Queen of the Ring Matches to Watch
Gunther vs. Randy Orton OR Tama Tonga
Gunther will have a chance to secure yet another major accolade Saturday when he competes in the King of the Ring final against either Randy Orton or Tama Tonga.
Gunther's opponent will be determined on Friday night's episode of SmackDown in Saudi Arabia, and while nothing can be entirely ruled out, it seems most likely that Orton will beat Tonga.
If that happens, fans will be treated to a first-time-ever match between the longest-reigning intercontinental champion of all time in Gunther and a 14-time world champion and future Hall of Famer in Orton.
Gunther vs. Orton is something of a dream match between two of the best all-around performers WWE has to offer, and the stakes for their match would be massive.
Given that Orton is already a made star in WWE, the odds would be hugely in Gunther's favor to win and add King of the Ring to his established status as Ring General.
There are likely many more big things in Gunther's future, and winning King of the Ring would be a vehicle to get him to the next level.
Cody Rhodes vs. Logan Paul
The likely main event of King and Queen of the Ring will see two of WWE's top titleholders clash in a champion vs. champion match.
SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis chose United States champion Logan Paul as WWE champion Cody Rhodes' next challenger, and while Cody tried to get Paul to put the U.S. title on the line, Logan refused, meaning the match will only be for the undisputed WWE Championship.
Paul challenging for the world title is reminiscent of his match against Roman Reigns for the undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia in November 2022.
There wasn't much expected of Paul going into that match, but he turned in a spectacular performance and silenced many of his doubters in that match.
It is now fairly accepted that Paul is an amazing in-ring wrestler with the potential to be a top star for many years to come, so the expectations are much higher this time around.
Cody is a heavy favorite to win and almost certainly will, but Paul promises to bring his A-game in what could be the match of the day.
Sami Zayn vs. Chad Gable vs. Bronson Reed
A strong argument can be made for the most compelling feud in WWE being the one between intercontinental champion Sami Zayn and Chad Gable.
Gable coached Zayn up during the build toward WrestleMania 40, and his tutelage was a big reason why Sami was able to end Gunther's 666-day reign as intercontinental champion.
However, after Zayn gave Gable a title shot and beat him, Gable snapped by pulled Zayn out of his wife's arms, hitting him with a German suplex and viciously beating him down in his hometown of Montreal.
Gable has made it his stated goal to take the IC title from Zayn since then, but Reed has also been a major factor, leaving a path of destruction in his wake en route to the Intercontinental Championship.
From an in-ring perspective, Zayn vs. Gable vs. Reed has a chance to be a special match that people talk about for years to come.
Also, there is an intriguing storyline element involved due to the fractured relationship between Gable and Alpha Academy, and that could play a significant role in the result of the match.
