Conway, SC (May 18, 2024) – The Horry County coroner’s office has confirmed that 52-year-old Tara Posey lost her life as a result of a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred on Wednesday in Conway. Authorities were called to the scene of the crash on May 15.

Reports indicate that a motorcycle was traveling west on South Carolina Highway 544 when it collided with a 2016 Subaru Forrester, which was traveling southbound from Tiffany Lane. A passenger on the motorcycle, identified as Posey, was rushed to an area hospital. She died after arriving. The driver of the motorcycle was also injured and transported to an area hospital. At this time, investigations into the accident are underway.
