Should I let Takemura do reconnaissance? ›

Doing so gives V information about the building's weak points, and allows them to have a deep conversation with Takemura that will cement their friendship. This has a significant impact on future dialogue choices in the game and can affect one of the endings.

Reset the core to restore the original Delamain - If you reset Delamian, you'll destroy all of his alt personalities and return him to factory settings. He'll forget everything you've experienced with him so far, but he does gift you a car from the Delamain fleet.

If you let Johnny take your body, he'll return to Earth and you'll be able to explore a few last mini-quests with him as V. He will too eventually leave Night City in search of his own fresh start though. It's another good option for those looking for some resolution.

Not saving him is the better option, but saving him is the better way if you want that ending. If you play the Devil ending. Saving him is the best. It doesn't offer any real benefit or loss.
