The dark night returns - EarthXTV (Freeview 79)Channel hopping I caught the back end of an EarthXTV programme ‘Back to the wild - The dark night returns’ – in summary ‘lockdown initiatives made cities less bright that they were pre-pandemic. Discover how darker spaces favourably impact birds and turtles, and uncover concrete solutions against light pollution’. The bit I caught covered quite a bit of detailed research include the application of red / amber light and how dark areas re-wilded etc. The problem is that earthxTV does not seem to have catch up – as far as I can tell the episode is being repeated on06/09/23 at 10.00 to 11.00 https://lnkd.in/eq4HBC9e 13/09/23 at 16.00 to 17.00 https://lnkd.in/eHNYNEac Very interesting and worth taking an hour to watch.
