Anderson, age 101, died on Friday, September 23, 1994 at Attic Angel Nursing Home. was born on March 13, 1893 in Thorpe, Wisconsin. Survivors include a daughter, Geraldine Fitzpatrick of Madison; two granddaughters, Lynn (James) Dean of Lake Forest, Illinois and Cecila (Peter) Frame of New York City; five great grandchildren, Matt and Graham Starr and Jim, Scott and Cecila Dean. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph S. Anderson in 1949.

Beesley, age 87, died on Friday, September 30, 1994, in a Waunakee Nursing Home. The former Mathilda M. Nicholai was born on June 18, 1907 in Michigan, the daughter of Peter and Katherine (Berg) Nicholai. She was a member of St. Olaf's Catholic Church in DeForest.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Holzberger of Escanaba, Michigan, and Robert Holzberger of Lake Linden, Michigan; several grandchildren, and great grandchildren; and a sister, Cecile Thurlby of Sun Prairie. He was born on October 23, 1918, in Neillsville, Wisconsin, to John and Mary Ehlers. He married Mildred V. Maher on December 27, 1952, in Milwaukee. Mr. Ehlers has been a resident of the Columbus area for the past 35 years.

He owned and operated Ehlers Mobil Service Station, Columbus, for nearly 35 years. Additionally, he farmed as a "hobby" his whole lifetime. He, enjoyed hunting, fishing, picking blueberries and blackberries. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Ehlers of Columbus; five sons, John Ehlers of West Allis, Eugene Jr. "Brownie" Ehlers of Sun Prairie, Donald Ehlers of Fall River, Roger Ehlers Columbus, Gordon Ehlers of Columbus; two daughters, Doris (Rodd) Schmitt of Columbus, Ruth (Mike) Kammer of Columbus; 13 grandchildren; a brother, Glenn (Muriel) Ehlers of Brookfield, Wisconsin; three sisters, Lillian Meyer of Meillsville, Evelyn Junction of Green Bay, Jeanette (Robert) Braatz of Beaver Dam; and other relatives and friends.

Harris, Lela M. PRAIRIE DU CHIEN Lela M. Harris, age 81, of 217 North State Street, Prairie du Chien, died early Saturday morning, October 1994, at Prairie Memorial Hospital. "She was born on July 12, 1913, in Ellenboro Township, Grant County, the daughter of Otto and Ocea (Bass) Eastman. She was married to Daniel Harris on June 7, 1939, at the Methodist Parsonage in Lancaster.

They farmed in the Brodtville area for many years. Lela graduated from Lancaster High School and received a teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin Platteville. She taught for 21 years in North Andover, Beetown, Patch Grove, West Grant and Prairie du Chien schools. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death, by a son, Ross D. Harris.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel of Prairie du Chien; a daughter, Marcia (Earl) Wilkins of Virginia, Minnesota; a brother, Elgie Eastman of Fennimore; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 on Tuesday afternoon, October 4, 1994, at the FUNERAL HOME in Bloomington with Pastor Leo Smith officiating. Kenneth Jaymes Johnson, son of Daniel and Chastity (Marks) Johnson died Friday, September 30, 1994. Graveside services were held Monday, October 3, at Hillside Cemetery, Columbus. ZEIDLER-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, Columbus Koch, Katherine E. OMRO, WISCONSIN Katherine E. Koch, age 101, (formerly of Madison), Omro, died on Saturday, October 1, 1994 at New Haven in Omro, Wisconsin.

She was born September 28, 1893 in Sauk County, Iowa, the daughter of the late George and Mathilda Diehl Gasser. Katherine married Harold F. Koch on June 18, 1928 in Nashua, Iowa. Harold preceded her in death in 1978. Mrs.

Koch taught in rural Sauk County schools. She then graduated with a' music degree from UW-Madison. Katherine taught in Mazomanie, Wisconsin schools until her marriage to Harold. Katherine was a member of First Methodist Church in Madison, Wisconsin. She served as the organist at the Wednesday noon chapel service for 18 years.

Mrs. Koch was a member of the Madison Woman's Club and directed the club's chorus for 25 years. She is survived by three sons, (Mabel) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Lynne (Carice) of Oshkosh, and Neil (Marie) of Menomonie, Wisconsin; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Sam and Almond Gassar. A chapel service will be held at 11:00 a.m.

on Tuesday, October 4, 1994 at the ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK in Monona, with the Reverend Christine Bethke officiating. The casket will remain closed. Lange, Ruth M. MADISON -Ruth M. Lange, age 75, of Madison passed away Saturday, October 1, 1994, at Meriter-Park Hospital. She was born May 15, 1919, in Madison, the daughter of John and Anna (Mrdutt) Yunger. On May 10, 1946, she married Walter Lange in Madison.

He preceded her in death, July 12, 1984. She is survived by; her son Brian of Madison; her sister, Joyce (Casmer) Konczak of Madison; three brothers; Robert (Frances) Yunger of Plaino, Illinois, Joe (Marguerite) Yunger of Sauk City and George (Arlene) Yunger of Kiel; many nieces and nephews; and her three beloved cats. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; her parents; one sister and one brother. MADISON George L. Probst, age 87, died on Sunday, October 2, 1994, at St.

Mary's Hospital following brief illness. 'He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1907, but due to family adversity was raised by his grandmother in Waterloo, Wisconsin, where he spent his boyhood and young adult years. He married the former Goldie Humphrey on April 28, 1938. For a time he operated a small grocery store in Clinton, Wisconsin, which he succumbed to the depression. He then moved to West Allis, Wisconsin, where he worked briefly the Kearney and Trecker Corp.

Most of his working years however were spent as a steel expeditor for Hotpoint, a division on General Electric. While in West Allis he was a dedicated member of Woodlawn Evangelical Lutheran Church. He loved his Lord, family, yard, flowers and garden. He was also a well-known dartball player in the city of Milwaukee, playing on numerous teams. The proudest moment in his dartball career came when he was chosen to be on the city All-Star Team, that played dartball game against the current World Series Champion Milwaukee Braves baseball team.

Due to failing health he moved to Madison in 1986, to be closer to his family. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran, where even at the age of 86, he was also a member of their dartball team. He became Grandpa George to the many friends he made on his daily walks around his eastside neighborhood. Special thanks to the "Sentry Gang" and the employees of I Bank who treated him with extraordilove and kindness. The family would also like to thank all of the hospital staff at St.

Mary's; the staff at Karmenta during his brief stay; and Dr. William Rock and Dr. Keith Kahle for all of their compassionate care. He was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie; He is survived by one daughter, Ann (George), Cooper of Cottage Grove; his granddaughters, Rebecca and Amy Cooper of Cottage Grove; a sister, Ethel Wellman of Milwaukee; and special cousin, Gertrude Wards of Watertown. Redman, age 79, entered into the eternal light on September 30, 1994 at a Sun Prairie nursing home. Daisy was born on March 25, 1915, in Geneva, New York, to Otto and Grace (Wilson) Chinnow. She was married to Herbert Redman, June, 1931 in Crown Point, Indiana. Together they raised a family and, for most of those years, operated a retail business in Tomah, Wisconsin. Daisy was preceded in death by Herbert in 1982; and prior to that by her parents; four sisters, Violet, Gladys, Erma and Mildred; and a son-in-law, Zsolt Matoltsy.

She is survived by sons, Herbert E. (Tanh) of Newark, California, Richard K. (Karine) of San Jose, Washington, D.C., and Thomas W. (Carolyn) of Milwaukee. She is also survived by daughters, Grace Matoltsy of Buffalo, New York, and Beverly (Joe) Cottrell of Stoughton; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Redman of Waukegan, Illinois; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Daisy was very active in Tomah civic affairs when residing there, having served as president of The Womens Club, Girl Scouts Council and the PTA. She served as an American Red Cross Grey Lady at the Tomah V.A. Hospital and helped raise funds for the building of Tomah Memorial Hospital. She was employed as a local correspondent for the La Crosse Tribune for many years, covering local news. A lady of many talents, her greatest loves were her family, music and swimming.

"Barney" Reible, age 68, of Madison died on Sunday, October 2, 1994 with his family at his side at Meriter Park Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on January 25, 1926 in Roxbury, Wisconsin to Carl and Magdalen (Henning) Reible.

He married the former Elizabeth Bongard on June 28, 1958. He worked at Oscar Mayer for 44 years and currently worked for Physicians Plus Medical Group in the mail room. He served during the Korean War with the U.S. Army. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, and gardening, and was a friend to all and will be deeply missed.

He was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church. He was born on April 7, 1914, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the son of Frederick and Helen Frederickson. Norman was a Veteran of World War II, having served with the United States Army in Australia, where he met his wife of 50 years, June Mercedes. Norman was employed with the Madison School District for 25 years until his retirement in 1977. He was a member of the VFW Post the Bow Hunter's Club, and was an avid outdoorsman. In addition to his wife, June, he is survived by two sons, Daniel of Madison, and Gerald of Maryland; a daughter-in-law, Bridgit Frederickson of Madison; two grandchildren, Kristin Broske, and Arron Black; a sister, Lorraine (Dan) Hartinger of North Carolina; and a brother, Bert (Viola) of Green Bay.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Tommy and Kevin; a sister, Mabel; and a brother, Larry. Hansen, Florence H. DOUGLAS Flor- ence H. Hansen, age 74, a long time Madison resident, formerly of Camp Douglas, died on Monday, October 3, 1994 at a Madison hospital. She was born on January 13, 1920 in Camp Douglas, the daughter of Hans T. and Ida (Markisen) Hansen.

She graduated from Camp Douglas High School and Juneau County Teachers College and also attended Madison Area Technical College. She had done clerical work at various places in Madison and was a volunteer at the Madison Public Library for many years following her retirement. She was an active member of Monona Oaks Community Church and was active in their foreign missions endeavors. Survivors include three sisters, Edna McKegney of New Lisbon, Pearl Jax of Mauston, Irene (Leonard) Scott of New Lisbon; a brother, Dr. Raymond (Elaine) Hansen of Marshfield; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at MONONA OAKS COMMUNITY CHURCH, 6200 Monona at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 1994 with Rev. William Bartz officiating. Burial will be in Orange Township Cemetery near New Lisbon at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday.

KENOSHA Anthony L. Ritacca, age 72, of 7516 31st Avenue, Kenosha, died on Saturday, October 1, 1994, at Myrtle Werth Medical Center, Menomonie, Wisconsin, after a massive heart attack while traveling to see his grandchildren. He was bonr on September 14, 1922, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the son of Joseph A. Ritacca and Anna Passanante. He attended Bain Elementary School, Washington Junior High School, and Kenosha High School.

He served in the United States Army, 91st Mechanized Calvary in Africa, Sicily and Italy during World War II. He was honorably discharged in 1945. He was co-owner and operator of Ritacca Brothers Service Station at 50th Street and 22nd Avenue from 1945 until 1970. From 1970 until his retirement he was the shop supervisor at Camosy Construction Company. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and V.F.W.

Knights of Columbus and the Teamsters Union. He is survived by one son, Joseph M. Ritacca of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia; five daughters, Diane M. Donais and Christine "Chris" Lewis both of Kenosha, Joanne "Jodie" Ritacca-Carlini and Carol Ritacca, both of Woodbury, Minnesota, and Alice "Katie" Doherty of Waukesha, Wisconsin; one brother, Vincent J. Ritacca of Madison, Wisconsin; two sisters, Rose Baxter and Vita Strobbe, both of Kenosha; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Vincent, in childhood.
